Listening to the Grain
John Carter Cash: Freeform explores abstraction through a process-led approach, with layered surfaces and expressive brushwork allowing each work to emerge organically rather than from a predetermined image. While the paintings suggest echoes of Picasso, Rothko, and Turner, they remain open-ended, inviting viewers to form their own interpretations.
Our mission is to connect artists, curators, collectors, and communities through innovative exhibitions, collaborative partnerships with 1313 N Market, DelArt, and the University of Delaware, and inclusive programming that celebrates artistic excellence, cultural heritage, and the development of emerging creative voices through our distinctive Emerging Curatorial Platform.
