In memory of William John Kennedy 1930-2021

On behalf of John William Gallery, we join the world of art and photography in their collective grief of the passing of William John Kennedy.

A keen eye and an occupational love for serendipity, Kennedy paved the way for artists such as Robert Indiana and Andy Warhol during a seminal period in American history. His historic contribution will continue to have a lasting imprint on the legacies of these esteemed artists, as well as his own snapshots of extraordinary vision which give cause for celebration for what he achieved and contributed to the American canon of photography.

Our deepest sympathies go out to his family.
